Jim Vokal serves as a Vice President at Coldwell Banker Commercial World Group. His focus is on brokerage and provides his clients with a full range of sales and leasing services for all types of commercial properties.
Mr. Vokal is currently Vice President of the Omaha City Council and served as President from 2003 to 2005. He was elected May 15, 2001 and reelected May 10, 2005. He represents District 3.
Mr. Vokal's previous professional experience was in banking. He was Vice President/Commercial Banking Manager and Vice President of Corporate Banking at two Omaha-based banks.
Mr. Vokal's community involvement has included Big Brothers-Big Sisters, Board of Directors and Fund Development Committee, Durham Western Heritage Museum Board of Directors since 2001, Destination Midtown Board of Directors since 2005; Holy Cross Catholic Church Trustee; Norwest United Way Campaign Chairman; Sacred Heart/CUES Campaign Chairman; and the Holy Cross Parish Council.
A graduate of Creighton University, Mr. Vokal received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Accounting in 1992 (Magna Cum Laude).
